Add a weekly summary total
The board shows current daily progress well, but I would like to see a total for the entire week when I toggle to the week view.

I agree. A sum at the top of the week view would work perfectly.
Maybe add a target line for the week, too.
Yes, I usually check my total hours on Fridays.
